Changes to Medicare Australia Medications 1st August 2008

On the 1^st of August 2008, Medicare Australia will be changing the cost of many prescription medicines.   As a result, we anticipate there could be supply problems with many of these medications.

 

Although not all prescriptions will be affected, at ePharmacy we are concerned that some of our customers may potentially be affected by this.  To make sure you have a continuous supply of your medication we have come up with a few suggestions: -

 

• If possible have these medications dispensed early in the month of July or at the end of July 2008
• Do not wait until you have run out of medication before having your prescriptions filled.  If there is a supply problem, we may be able to source from one of our stores, but this may take a few days.
• Talk to one of our pharmacists if you are having trouble obtaining any of your medications and we may be able to source from one of our 90 plus stores
• DO NOT stop taking your medication unless advised by your doctor

ePharmacy and Yellow Cabs team up for Targa Tasmania

 

The recent Tasmania Targa 2008 event was held with ePharmacy teaming up with Yellow Cabs to be an official sponsor of Neill Ford's Corvette racing team. ePharmacy's Managing Director , Brett Clark, believed the race and its exposure was a nice fit for ePharmacy's customer and position in the market place. " As Tasmania is a very strong market for ePharmacy, the race made sense with regards to increasing our profile around the entire state. We have already had a number of our customers make comment to the branding on the car's panel." Brett has commented .
