Medihoney is pure honey produced from plant species which are selected to provide honeys with high levels of therapeutic activity.

Medihoney is tested in Australia by an independent government laboratory to verify its antibacterial activity.

The antibacterial activity of honey is internationally referenced to a phenol equivalent standard.

The phenol equivalent measures unique plant factor activity (e.g. like UMF) as well as antibacterial enzyme activity.

Do not use on patients with a known hypersensitivity to bee products.
