MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Always use this product with adult supervision. Accidents have occurred when babies have been left alone with drinking equipment due to the baby falling or if the product has disassembled.
Never use feeding teats/nipples (delete as appropriate) as a soother/pacifier (delete as appropriate).
Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used. This can occur if the baby is allowed to use the bottle for long periods through the day and particularly through the night, when saliva flow is reduced or if it is used as a soother/pacifier (delete as appropriate).
Always check food temperature before feeding. Heating in a microwave oven may produce localised high temperatures. Take extra care when microwave heating.

Like this bottle
Really prefer to use the glass bottles as I feel they are a better long term option for use with no concerns of plastic leaching. Like this brand of bottles with nice look and feel. Find them easy to clean and sterilise. Good quality and nice shape which makes them easy to hold

Not as good as the plastic version
We started with a glass bottle because we thought it would be the best, but it's actually quite heavy in comparison to other bottles, and this made it more awkward to feed bubs. We very quickly swapped to the plastic version and found them much better and easier to use. The teats are the same, so baby was happy to change, but it just made it easier for us.

Glass bottle
i use this at my mother in laws house to keep there as i find it doesn’t discolour or scratch like the plastic ones they are easy to clean and you can get different size teats for how old your baby is. I do Find it hard to keep the lids on when in the nappy bag.

not good
I was using this bottles for the past month and s half because I thought they are the best for wind and reflux. I didn’t know about any other brand. My baby liked the teat for a newborn but as she grow older she started to refuse drinking from the bottle. at 12 weeks she had got bad wind from the bottle.
