MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

It works!

Good value- light and silky
I have been using this cream for 2 weeks since I was 36 weeks, prior to that I was occasionally using bio oil which never fully absorbed and being summer just made me feel greasy and like I needed to shower. I haven’t got stretch marks on my belly but I have old ones on my body elsewhere so I can’t say whether the cream stops stretch marks because I didn’t use it for the whole pregnancy but it’s much nicer to apply if you’re looking for something that you would want to put on daily for peace of mind and for the price it’s worth a go anyway. I feel like you will get stretch marks regardless but moisturising definitely helps with that tight itchy ness you get from your skin stretching. I’ll keep using it after baby is born and see if it reduces my old stretch marks and helps the skin return to its previous elasticity.

I wouldn’t use this product by itself I would also purchase a stretch mark oil or the palmers stretch mark butter (that’s a bit of a heavier moisturiser) the product doesn’t smell as good as other products however does leave your skin soft which reduces itching. I haven’t seen any results in removing redness from marks yet but I would buy again for the fact it not expensive and I do feel soft afterwards.

Didn’t work for me
I used this product during my first pregnancy at least twice a day from around 6-8weeks, initially in conjunction with the palmers tummy butter (I discontinued use as it was too hard to put on) then in conjunction with the palmers massage lotion however I still ended up with awful stretch marks on my belly and some on my thighs. Part of this is def genetic which was why I was careful with using stretch mark cream but no pick. I thought it smelled pleasant and was easy to put on, not greasy so could put on pants after applying with no issues just didn’t work for me :(
