MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Ego QV Face Gentle Cleanser has been specifically formulated to gently cleanse dry or sensitive skin. The creamy formulation protects against the drying effect of cleansing and leaves skin feeling fresh, soft and moisturised.

Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laurth Sulfate, Safflower Oil (Carthamus Tinctorius), Soft White Paraffin (Petrolatum), Lauryl Betaine, Glycerol (Glycerin), Xanthan Gum, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydroxybenzoates (Methyl and Popyl Paraben), BHT, Citric acid.
Directions
Use morning and night. Moisten face with water. Lather a small amount of cleanser on hands then gently massage onto face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Follow with QV Face Moisturising Cream.

Great for sensitive skin
The QV gentle face cleanser is great for those who have sensitive skin and want to use a face wash that won't cause any irritation nor strip their skin of moisture. Even though it's gentle it still does a great job of removing impurities without leaving my skin feeling tight or dry. It is soap free but still has a gentle and light lather, just enough to feel like your face is getting a good clean but nothing harsh. My skin feels clean but still moisturised after washing with this cleanser. I like that it contains no fragrance or colour and it is vegan friendly too. It's not the best at removing makeup so I would recommend using this as part of your second step and use either micellar water or a cleansing oil first to remove makeup.

Brilliant and calming
I was using the Cereve cleanser before this and thought that was good. Then! I tried this and realised my skin actually burnt when I used Cereve. This is so great for super super sensitive skin like mine. Feels like heaven

Leaves a slightly oily film
This is a rinse off, soap-free cream cleanser targeted towards dry and sensitive skin. It has a simple formula without fragrance. It is to be applied to a damp face, massaged and rinsed off. It doesn't really foam for me but works well to remove light make-up. It is quite heavy on the petroleum and you can smell in instantly. It doesn't irritate the sensitive areas on my face.
It does leave a film after rinsing, and my face feels a bit oiler than before washing. For reference, I have combination skin that can get dry in winter. I am not really keen on this oily after feel as I prefer a cleanser to be gentle but still clean properly without stripping, leaving me to add my own hydrating products after. My face just doesn't feel clean after this, so I use it more like a first cleanser then use a gentle foaming cleanser after. I can imagine that this would help very dry skin though, as it does add moisture. It's just not the right product for me personally.
