MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Biore Pack Ultra 6
The only thing worse than your typical blackhead is a stubborn one. Bioré® Ultra deep cleansing pore strips offer maximum pore cleansing power to combat difficult pore-clogging dirt and oil around the nose area. Formulated with tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel to cool the skin so you feel it working. Custom fit to reach dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days. Dermatologically tested, hypo-allergenic.
Ingredients
Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Aqua, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Menthol, Hamamelis Virginiana.
Directions
Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet nose. The strip won’t stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch – like papier-mâché. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!

Removes build-up from pores
I've been using the Bioré Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips once a week for about 5 weeks now and whilst I have noticed my pores becoming tighter or less noticeable just yet I do think they do a fantastic job of removing dirt, oil and black heads from my blocked pores. I like to cleanse my face with warm water first to open up my pores and I leave my nose wet and apply extra water to my nose so that it's almost dripping wet to apply the pore strip otherwise they don't stick and work. You'll know when it's ready to slowly peel off because the strip becomes quite tight. This will take about 10 minutes to happen. I love holding the strip up to the light once I've peeled it off to see all the gunk it's removed from my pores. It's so satisfying. I love these strips.

Unclogs pores, clears skin
These strips are great for unclogging pores. They are economical and so simple to use, just presss across the nose area, leave and pull off to remove inground dirt, oil and grime that often proves stubborn to remove. If I use these regularly my pores are much less visible, breakouts much less and my skin looks clearer and fresher. I can often have a problem with large pores and these strips are amazing. They contain witch hazel to soothe skin and tea tree oil which helps to combat oil and clear up skin, it’s a natural antiseptic which keeps skin clean and clear. Biore make great skincare products and I love these strips, they don’t irritate and are so handy. Great product
