Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 50+ Helioplex broad spectrum uva-uvb. Very high long lasting protection with 4 hrs water resistant for a weightless, clean feel suitable for the face and body.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen Lotion provides very high sun protection. Stabilised with Helioplex technology, it provides balanced broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection against skin-aging UVA and burning UVB rays and combines it with Dry Touch Technology for a lightweight, non-shiny finish.

Warnings
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Prolonged sun exposure should be avoided, it is important to wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Reapply frequently.

Directions
Do not apply in windy conditions. Apply to all exposed areas 20 minutes before sun exposure. Hold bottle 10-15 am away from body and apply liberally and evenly until the product looks and feels wet on the skin. Rub in. Do not spray direclty onto face. Spray on hands then apply to face evenly. Reapply frequently (at least every 2 hours) and immediately after swimming, excessive perspiration, towelling. Use in well ventilated areas and avoid inhalation..

Best sunscreen i’ve bought so far
i bought this a few months ago while it was on sale at a local store and i literally have acne-prone skin and this sunscreen did not make me breakout whatsoever. My skin has improved ever since i used this sunscreen and it does leave a few white caste but it’s okay because you can easily blend in it a second and im acyually pretty tan but the sunscreen blends well. The sunscreen under a fax mask is pretty good and lasts a while even through covid times but a go to sunscreen, really recommend!

Excellent, highly effective face/body sunscreen
Australian law does not permit the manufacturers to claim any stronger SPF than 50+. But this very same product is sold in the USA labelled as 110 SPF. So it is really effective and amazing! I have tried the entire Neutrogena line of sunscreens and this one is the best, in my opinion. It works well under liquid or mineral powder foundations, too. Great product!

Non greasy sunblock
I bought this for my husband as he dislikes greasy sunblock and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Lotion SPF50+ fits the bill. It really works and the only complaint I would have is that it doesn't come in larger size tubes.
