Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Ive been meaning to try this hair mask for years as ive heard so many great things! Im so glad i purchased it especially as we are heading into winter now. This can be used as a conditioner, mask and also an overnight treatment. i tend to use this most as a mask whilst in the shower and i keep it on for a few minutes. My hair is always so soft, hydrated and smooth after every use!

I bought this product about a month ago, and its one of the best products i could buy for my hair. I have thick wavy/curly long hair and never liked leaving it out due to it being frizzy, unhealthy, dry and dull.. Now that ive been using this product not only as a mask but as a leave in conditioner and my hair is smooth, waves look healthy and i have less frizz. I love how multi use this product is, you can use it as a leave in for the ends, conditioner & mask. Since using this product I have noticed quite a difference in my hair, it’s a lot more soft and manageable, & the smell omg it smells so good you would want to eat it (don’t eat it please) hahaha. Love the smell and how it helps my hair!
This hair mask is just gorgeous. It smells like an amazing mix between fresh banana and banana lollies.
It's a thick texture, which I love in a hair mask, and there is a large amount of product.
This mask is great for a intensive treatment on the hair. I use it instead of conditioner, but you can use it along with conditioner if necessary.
I have seen on the ads you can also use it as a leave in treatment, I haven't tried that yet but would be interested to find out.

This deliciously scented concoction from Garnier, whilst not brand new on the market, is a product I keep re purchasing again and again, even when I've sandwiched in more expensive salon products.
Firstly, I have very curly, long hair, which is naturally dry, and half way to growing out years of salon colouring. I decided to take a more natural route for a few reasons, but I am sporting plenty of salt and pepper up top, with dried out coloured ends. Enter this baby! I strictly use this product as a leave in, after towel drying and using a light amount of hair oil. It seals in the moisture, leaving my curls bouncy, hydrated, and protected. The best bit? The fragrance! It smells like a delicious banana dessert; natural, though, not like a fake banana lolly. The fragrance is not obnoxious, though, but gently wafts when the wind tousles my hair.
This product works, and believe me, I've used most of them out there for curly hair, and it wont break the bank. The added bonus of no nasties is a huge plus as well!

I absolutely enjoy using the Garnier Fructis nourishing banana hair food. After using this product my hair felt completely smooth. My hair has been super dry lately this is due to the dry weather and dying my hair. The product also smells very divine and has a creamy texture. It is easy to apply to the hair and lasts for many applications as the tub is huge. I am pleased to say this product has impressed me very much and I would use it again.

Right off the bat, the beautiful banana scent was gentle and mellow with a fruity tinge. I bought this flavour to help nourish my dry ends & it genuinely felt so much softer & hydrated after one use. There is so much product packed in the container and I can't wait to see how much softer my hair gets after multiple uses. Will definitely buy again & such great value for money.

It's the perfect all round treatment for those who have normal to oily hair roots but dry ends from using heating tools like straighteners and curlers. Banana is my fave.
I use a couple of types of this treatment. I switch them up. My long coloured hair that I straighten daily absorbs the moisture from the “food” and keeps my hair smooth and shiny. I leave it in as a treatment from time to time. I always have this in my hair care arsenal.
