MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Created by the renowned and respected International Lactation Expert - Pinky McKay, alongside a team of health professionals, our biscuits are intentionally made to be as close to nature as possible. That means, no preservatives, no additives and no 'unhelpful' factors that may upset your baby (like chocolate). As your baby is exposed to foods through your own breastmilk, with Boobie Bikkies you can be sure that whilst you are enjoying your richly deserved snack, you are also providing your baby with the purest delight of all.
Remember, you cannot fill from an empty cup, so our Boobie Bikkies are the perfect accompaniment during your breastfeeding journey. Individually sealed for maximum freshness, our bikkies will not only satisfy your appetite, but delight you at this same time, whilst boosting your energy levels and supporting you as you nourish your baby.
Ingredients include: organic oats, organic flaxseed and brewers yeast.
INTERESTING FACT: the flavour of vanilla is sweet and lovely, with a gorgeous aroma and floral hints and babies love it too. Did you know, that studies have shown that babies suckle longer and obtain more milk when milk is vanilla flavoured*. The flavour of your breastmilk does change depending on the foods and spices that you eat.
How long do they last?
We don't use any preservatives in Boobie Bikkies. Each cookie is individually wrapped inside the box to maintain maximum freshness. Best before date is 6 months from date of baking. Please store your bikkies in a cool place to maintain optimal freshness. We recommend you purchase your bikkies closer to the date in which you intend to consume them.

How many Boobie Bikkies should I eat?
Serving suggestion is 2 cookies. Most women eat one or two Boobie Bikkies a day, others eat more and some women eat one just on busy days. Boobie Bikkies are individually wrapped so will stay fresh once the pack has been opened.

Used these after giving birth and they are so tasty. I don't know if it was the biscuits or just naturally but I had a really good supply of colostrum and milk at the same time I was eating these. The only thing i woud fault is the price, Very expensive for 10 cookies. I would still recommend them though!
