MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

A mixed bag!
My personal experience with many "chemical-free" products has always been pretty average and this was no exception. I have fine hair and my natural hair colour is a mix of very light and platinum blonde, with a dark blonde undertone and some grey. I chose shade 9/0 "Very Light Blonde". The positives? There was no detectable chemical odour or feel on application & during waiting time, just a fairly subtle & pleasant fruity aroma...a big tick for me! The not-so positives? On application, the product shows up an alarmingly bright red tone, so be prepared! The shampoo & conditioner have rather strange "natural" scents...I detected something like licorice in the shampoo & a slight menthol scent in the conditioner, but are not too overpowering. The shampoo has a very thick & clingy texture & it took a couple of applications to rinse out the colour properly. The end result was not "Very Light Blonde" but a colour closer to Light Strawberry Blonde with very obvious light red tones. I didn't have to panic & go buy another colour as the mixture of light tones in my natural hair meant the effect was okay and I will be able to live with it. Grey coverage was okay, but not great. Just be aware, that this colour was definitely not true to what was described or depicted on the box & unless you are partial to a light ginger-red tone in your blonde hair, don't choose!

Orange hair!!!! Not impressed
Orange hair, not blonde, not impressed!!!. I am struggling immensely to remove all the Orange. My organics you should pay to fix this!!!

This is NOT very light blonde !!! More a strawberry blonde/rose gold ...slightly orange. Not what I wanted at all and very disappointed.
