MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

General Information
QV Baby Skin Lotion is a lightweight moisturising lotion. It contains vitamin B3 to help maintain skin barrier function for delicate or sensitive skin.
Warnings
Avoid eyes. For external use only. If irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use. Do not use soap as it may irritate baby's delicate skin. Do not use on the nappy area.

Non-greasy lotion for dry skin.
QV Baby Skin Lotion repairs and soothes dry skin. With a luxuriously light formulation, it’s easy to apply to all parts of the body. For best results, apply after bath or shower.

Helps seal in natural moisture by acting as a protective barrier.
pH balanced, low-irritant formulation, free from fragrance, colour, lanolin and propylene glycol.
Suitable for use on dry, scaly skin, winter itch, ichthyosis, xerosis, and dermatitis.
Suitable for relief of symptoms of atopic eczema and psoriasis.
Suitable for even sensitive skin types.

Directions
Apply to affected areas as often as required, particularly after showering, bathing, exposure to harsh climatic conditions and at night. For best results combine with use of QV Baby Bath Oil and QV Baby Gentle Wash.

Hydrating non-greasy baby lotion
This a very gentle baby lotion. I love that this is in a convenient pump bottle, so you dont need to put too much effort into getting the lotion out.
The consistency is perfect. In between runny and not too thick, so a little goes a long way.
You don't need to over massage it in as it absorbs really well, which is good when you have a wriggling baby.
I love that this lotion isn't greasy or oily, so you don't get that stickiness.
It has a slight 'cream' scent, so it's not overbearing for babies or their skin. This is also recommended for eczema, so is perfect for helping with rashes as well.

QV Baby Skin Lotion
The QV Baby Skin Lotion comes in a fantastic little pump bottle and was great to keep next to the change table or my bedside table to moisturise my babies once a day after their daily baths.
I always trust QV as it has always has been gentle on both of my children’s skin I found this lotion to be nice and hydrating and just enough for both of my children skin without being too thick or greasy it absorbs so well I to babies skin leaving it hydrated.
I would recommend this to everyone looking for a baby lotion gentle enough to use everyday.
