MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Ingredients
Glycerin, Sodium Bicarbonate, Carbomer (NOS), Xylitol, Activated Carbon Powder, Chondrum Crispus (Carrageenan) Powder, Sorbitol, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil (Mint Flavour A009), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) See Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel, Sodium Chrlorite, Camellia, Citrus Grandix (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Propylene Glycol, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Cocamidopropyl Betaine.
Directions
Step 1. Ensure mouth tray and teeth are clean. Step 2. Check to see the LED light is working by twisting the cover on the back of the LED light to expose the batteries. Remove the plastic sleeve insert that sits between both batteries and then place the batteries back in the LED in the correct position. Step 3. Attach the LED light onto the front of the mouth tray and clip into position. Step 4. Apply 1/4 of the gel from 1x tube into the mouth tray. Apply just enough to coat the frontal surfaces of the mouth guard for your teeth to be whitened, but not your gums. Step 5. Place the mouth tray into your mouth (with LED light turned on) and hold into position. Press the 'on' button and then it will countdown from 10 minutes - you can repeat this 10 minute countdown 3-4 times per sitting. Recommended use of a minimum of 10 minutes. Step 6. After use, rinse our mouth with lukewarm water and ensure that you have cleaned your mouth guard to keep it hygienic. Repeat this for 5 consecutive days to achieve best results.
